Responsibilities included FEED and detailed engineering for Hydrogen Unit, Catalytic Cracking Unit, Viscosity Breaker Unit, Merox and Hydrotreater units. Executed refinery configuration and optimization study based on high sulphur content.
Mongstad Refinery, Norway, Expansion and Optimization
Responsibilities included Review of actual refining capacity versus a 60% feed increase using process modeling and benchmarking on major production units. Field test runs to guide equipment rating checks. Also participated in detailed engineering for debottlenecking and expansion on several units at the refinery including: Crude Unit, ATM Distillation, Vacuum Unit, Hydrocracker Unit, Naphtha-Jet and Gas Oil Hydrotreaters, Delayed Coker, Sulfur and Tail Gas Plants (350 tons/day), Gas Recovery, Gas Sweetening Amine Units.
Meraux Refinery, Lousiana, Refinery Expansion and Optimization
Responsibilities included HYSYS modelling, P&ID edit, rating checks on equipment bench marking with regard to integrating SIG new feed to existing atmospheric distillation unit and FCCU.
